I have paid for this doll and was told by the company that she was to ship on March 23. I cannot get in touch with this company (have emailed Carie twice and called, only to be referred to the "one man warehouse," where I was asked to leave a message, only to not receive the courtesy of a call back) to find out if the doll has actually shipped, and by what method. The lack of professionalism that has been exhibited is astounding, from start to finish. They cannot hide behind the "I didn't know this doll would be so popular" excuse anymore. They've had three months to prepare to get this doll shipped in a timely manner when she arrived from IT, and instead, they did nothing. And now, they don't even respond to requests for information. I don't care how "small" an operation is. When someone takes your money (in this case, a good chunk -- $150), they should be able to provide the service. - noname

The doll is very cute, but I wish they would make a doll of Annette Funicello and Sandra Dee. They were America's Sweethearts in the 50s and 60s.

This is the first time I've seen these comments and for the record I also want to say that I am NOT the Rhonda who has posted here. I am 'Rhonda' from the W Club and I don't post on any other boards. Also, I don't know who Vin is. Seems there are quite a few Rhonda's out there! - Rhonda (from Australia)

My friend Tracy was able to order this giftset for me and it's my first non-Barbie and I'm very excited for me and others and think its very mean of some of you people to be so nasty to her she was in the right place and right time so stop being such poor losers! - Trisha

Someone mentioned to me a post by a Rhonda further below. Let me state right here and now THAT IS NOT ME! I never tried for a Poppy, she wasn't a must have for me and I always sign my name Rhonda W (at the least)since there are at least two other Rhonda's out there, possibly more. One in Australia and one in Canada, that I know of. This is why last names (or initials) are important when posting. If I had an issue with Vince (which I don't) I would take it up with him personally. Just want to clarify this and clear the air. - Rhonda W Vinylounge Lizard

Exactly - all you moaners, get a life!!! I got my doll fair and square, and if you don't like it, tough. You don't have to be so ugly and mean Vince and others. Grow up. - Tracy

A few months ago, I was fighting to keep breathing. Cancer and heart failure were getting the better of me at 41 yrs old. As I started my will and tried to determine who would get my doll collection I had no answer to this question. I still don't. I do, however, have a better sense of what is important and what is not. What a gift that has been! This too shall pass. - Vanessa

I can't believe some of the things said on this board! Vin you should be ashamed for the things you said here and you owe Carie an apology. I never saw this side of you but can safely say that I will not soon forget it and don't care for it one bit. It's just a doll. I am happy I was one of the lucky people to get her and I think everything was fair and square, sorry. - Rhonda

Have to agree with Bill on this one. I'm not in the W Club, have no need to be in it and they already got their shot at 240 or 250 of these dolls. Enough is enough! Time to get over it and move on please. I have been a subscriber to Dolls Magazine for years and have never ever seen anything like this and only wish I could give their staff a hug for what they've endured these last few days. - Jean
