I know that she is just a playline doll, but my first Barbie was a 1989 Wet 'N Wild Barbie and she went through life with me. I mean I played with her in childhood, I cut and "dyed" her hair when I was at my "punk" phase of being a teen, and I believe I still have her packed away somewhere. So I jumped at the chance to get one NRFB. I have a pretty extensive doll collection, but I guess the other reason this doll is one that reflects me is because I really feel that everyone should remain a child at heart. She is still with me today. She's not in perfect condition because she was played with and loved, but she was the most perfect toy I ever got. I think it might have been the most perfect gift ever. I have had it since I can remember. My mother didn't approve of Barbie. She thought she was too mature for me, so I was given a Tammy. Tammy was not as glamorous, not as popular, not as sexy!
