My name is Bonnie Dubil. In 1992 or there abouts, a woman bought a large one-of-a-kind doll from me to sent to Ann Rice's doll museum. She had medium dark skin and was dressed in a Creole outfit. If any one knows the whereabouts of this doll, please email me. The doll will have my name carved into the back of the head, just under the hair, which is long tight black curles. dubilh@aol.com - Bonnie Dubil

She have a nice collection of dolls, very interesting, anyway I just wanna share that I found this website http://www.ThatsMyFace.com/f/custom_doll_head that can create a super-realistic doll heads of anyone from just a photo. Imagine making doll of yourself, your kids, your boss or your favorite celebrity!

Apparently they can make the heads in many scales to fit Barbie-like dolls, Tonner dolls or even smaller figurines like Polly Pocket.

Truly a sad ending for a wonderful collection. You were one of the
lucky ones to have visited the dolls. No one tells the story
better than you! - india thybulle

How much did her dolls sell for? did they exceed the estimate? And who bought them? Doll collectors or Anne Rice fans? That would be interesting to find out. - A Vampire Fan

You're lucky you get to meet and talk to so many famous people. Who knew Anne Rice was a doll collector? Besides Marie Osmond, are there other famous doll collectors that we should know about? - Tina

HaHa! Succubus and succumbed. Funny pun. There are thousands of vampire puns I can make. It SUCKS that she had to sell her collection, right?
Anne Rice is a great author, and I'd love to own one of her dolls. I was told she's also selling some of the dolls on ebay. Is that true? Do you know? Can DOLLS follow that up? - Charlene

Very interesting article!
One little thing. A succubus isn't a vampire but rather a demonic female spirit that seduces men in their sleep and is hazardous to their health. The male version is an incubus.
