 Maggie Iacono has been named the recipient of the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award by DOLLS magazine. Iacono, with 31 years of dedication to the craft, raises the bar of excellence for the doll industry year after year, making her an ideal pick for this year's winner.
"I am both thrilled and honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award," Iacono says. "Many years ago I was told by a very wise person, my father, 'Do what you love, and success and contentment will find you.' That was good advice," she says. Iacono will be presented with the award at the IDEX Premiere 2012 Debut of Dolls and DOTY Awards Banquet to be held at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27, 2012, in Orlando, Fla.
