The New Jersey-based company is known for its porcelain dolls designed to capture Russian history and folklore, with authentic costumes created from Russian furs and fabrics. “Neva Dolls pays homage to all Russian women through the centuries, from the peasant bride in the rural village to the courtly czarinas. The history of Russia's costumes is utterly fascinating,” McDonough said. The Hillsborough Library is in the Municipal Complex at 379 South Branch Rd. in Hillsborough, and is open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the library display is free.
